Contemporary Up Side Down
In this workshop we are changing the perspective and go upside down.
After a proper warm-up we approach standing on our hands through different exercises with tools from contemporary dance, acrobatics and partnering.
We are working specifically on different topics that are essential for handstands such as hands, shoulders, hips, core work and different kinds of body tension. Through the variety of approaches we find different ways of how to enter an upside down position and connect it to a movement flow.
Let’s turn the world upside down!

Grounded Elevation – The Art of Dealing with Connection
Partnering in Dance and Circus
Grounded Elevation deals with elements of Partnering and Partner Acrobatics. In this workshop we are working on knowledge and tools to act and react within the own body as well as in interaction with another one.
Through a process of building trust towards oneself and the other, we explore the relation between giving and taking weight, the use of gravity and momentum as well as the importance of the floor and your own axis while basing and flying with the tools of contemporary dance, partnering and partneracrocatics.
The level is adapted to the experience of the participants.
